RESISTANCE WELDING

Resistance welding refers to several methods of welding that generate heat through the resistance of the welding current through the workpiece. Clamping force is applied during the heating process to keep the components in place until the welded joint has solidified. Our resistance welding processes are used to join metals and include spot and seam welding. These processes can be used to spot weld lighter gauge materials to one another, or to weld an array of fasteners to a substrate.

When Budget and Speed are Crucial

Because resistance welding doesn’t require additional filler metal, flux, or shielding gasses, it can be very cost-effective for a number of fabrication projects. This efficient welding process can be automated to allow for faster production rates and can weld .010”-.125 thick materials.
